Cake Sale for Young Lives vs Cancer
We were proud to host our very first fundraising event for our Charity of the Year 2026, Young Lives vs Cancer — and what better way to start than with cake!
To mark World Cancer Day, 4th February, colleagues came together for a delicious cake sale packed with homemade bakes, sweet treats and plenty of generosity. Many of our team kindly baked or donated cakes, and we were also incredibly grateful to Somerset Larder, who supported us with a wonderful donation of cupcakes.
A huge thank you to every colleague who brought a slice (or two!) and helped make the day such a success.
Together, we raised an amazing £405.
This fantastic total will fund five nights in a Young Lives vs Cancer ‘Home from Home’, giving families a safe, comfortable place to stay while their child receives cancer treatment; easing both emotional and financial pressure during an incredibly difficult time.
We’re incredibly proud of what we achieved together and are excited to continue supporting Young Lives vs Cancer throughout the year.
