Following the unfortunate incident of vandalism at Brainwave, a team of SPS volunteers stepped in to lend a hand. We were eager to support the charity and help enhance their already amazing sensory garden, an important space for the children and families they support.
Our team worked hard by donating and planting over 100 flowers, painting fences, and carrying out various gardening tasks. It was a fulfilling experience to contribute our time and efforts to this cause, knowing how important the garden is as an additional resource for the families who benefit from Brainwave’s work.

A special mention goes to Su, the talented gardener, who has done an incredible job designing the sensory garden. Su has carefully created distinct areas that cater to each of the five senses, incorporating plants that can be touched, smelled and felt. Her thoughtful approach has transformed the garden into a truly immersive space and we are proud to support her ongoing efforts. It was an honour to contribute to Brainwave’s mission and we look forward to more volunteering opportunities in our community.

Our commitment doesn't stop there!
At SPS, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s:
- Litter picking to keep Bridgwater clean,
- Promoting road safety near schools,
- Or sharing the magic of books with future leaders…
We’re dedicated to making a difference. And this is just the beginning as we look to support more community initiatives this year. Watch this space!
