Celebrating Excellence in the SPS Team!
The SPS Excellence Awards 2026 brought colleagues together at Canalside for an evening dedicated to celebrating the people, achievements and teamwork that make SPS what it is.
The annual awards provide an opportunity to recognise colleagues across the business who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism and dedication throughout the year. From individual achievements to the contribution of teams across our operations, the evening was a chance to celebrate the people behind SPS’s continued success.
We were thrilled to be joined by some fantastic guests who helped make the evening extra special. A big thank you to Ryan Jones MBE, former Wales rugby captain and our host for the evening, alongside Beccy Jeffreys, HPC Service Manager; Rob Jordan, HPC Project Construction Director and Andrew Jarvis, Managing Director of the Coach Division at First Bus. Thank you all for joining us and helping us celebrate the achievements of our team.
A huge congratulations to all of our winners and nominees. Their achievements reflect the talent, dedication and passion that exists across our business.
“Tonight is one of my favourite events of the year because it gives us the opportunity to pause, look back, and most importantly recognise the incredible people who make SPS what it is. Every achievement we’ve celebrated this year started with somebody choosing to do the right thing. A driver taking pride in every journey, a controller finding a solution when there appears to be none, an engineer making sure every vehicle leaves depot safely, or a member of our support teams quietly making things happen behind the scenes. Those actions rarely make headlines, but they are the reason SPS succeeds. Our greatest strength remains exactly what it has always been: our people.”

We would also like to thank the team at Canalside in Bridgwater for providing the perfect setting for the evening, Haus Band for bringing the event to life with fantastic production and music, and Impact20twenty for capturing the event and creating lasting memories through their photography.
It was a fantastic opportunity to come together, celebrate our people and recognise the excellence that exists across SPS.
