How can you make a career
at SPS?
At SPS, colleagues have the opportunity to build a rewarding career while contributing to the largest construction project in Europe. With access to training, development, and clear progression opportunities, we support colleagues to grow and develop within their roles.

We transport thousands of passengers daily, operating around the clock to keep the project moving safely, reliably, and with minimal disruption to local communities.

Are you a Qualified Driver?
If you’re a qualified Bus/Coach Driver with a manual PCV licence, we can offer you a rewarding career with opportunities for development.
You will work on your own initiative, looking after passenger safety and providing a professional service.
You’ll be responsible for our customers getting to their destination safely and on time and having a great experience.
Engineering at SPS
Our Engineers support the delivery of essential transport services on one of the UK’s largest infrastructure sites, Hinkley Point C.
These high-profile environments demand the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance and our Engineering teams are essential in ensuring our fleet remains safe, compliant, and ready for service every day.

Interested in our Support Roles?
Our Business Support teams play a vital role in keeping SPS running smoothly. From administration and customer service to finance, HR, and operational support, these roles ensure our people, processes, and services operate effectively, helping us deliver the perfect journey.
Our Culture at SPS
We strive to build a positive culture at SPS and to make employees feel valued, working towards a common goal, succeeding together and going home at the end of day feeling fulfilled.
Our values have been developed in collaboration with all areas of the organisation. They summarise what we believe in, what we strive towards and what has helped us to be successful so far.
Collectively and individually, everyone has a role to play in making SPS a great place to work, a great influence on our local community and a great experience for our clients and customers.

Investing in Our People
We create a wide range of employment opportunities across Somerset, helping people develop new skills and build on existing experience.
Through initiatives such as our SPS Drive Academy, we support colleagues with personalised development plans, preparing them for future career progression and leadership opportunities. By investing in our people, we are building a skilled workforce ready to support both the future of SPS and the wider local business community.
Our Charity Partnership: Young Lives vs Cancer
Following a colleague vote, SPS is proud to support Young Lives vs Cancer as our chosen charity partner.
The charity provides essential support to children, young people, and families affected by cancer. We’ll be raising awareness, taking part in fundraising activities, and working together to help make a real difference.
Colleagues have the opportunity to take part in fundraising events, including charity walks, Brave the Shave challenges and skydives, and much more, helping to raise vital funds and awareness for this important cause.
