At SPS, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, valued, and able to thrive. A key part of that commitment is ensuring colleagues have access to people they can turn to when they need someone to listen.
We’re proud to announce that 16 colleagues have recently completed their Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training. The training, delivered in-house by colleagues Jo and Sally, provided participants with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs of poor mental health, offer initial support, and guide individuals towards appropriate help if needed.
The sessions were filled with energy, open discussion, and a shared determination to make a difference. Our newly qualified Mental Health First Aiders are now visible across SPS, proudly wearing their green lanyards as a sign of the support they can offer.
Having more trained Mental Health First Aiders strengthens our collective ability to support one another and helps us build a culture where wellbeing is at the heart of how we work. It’s another important step in making SPS a place where everyone feels safe, heard, and empowered.
